1) a few times, I can't save edits of my posts

2) this has been around for quite some time - whenever at battlelog.co, my laptop's fans speed up a lot

3) Is the forum being revamped? - because last few hours there have been glitches not experienced before when posting/editing

Thank you.

I know of the post edit bug, I run into it all the time. ;D

I've noticed that when you edit the same post too many times it will start to break. The first 1 or 2 times you edit a post with some minor changes like adding a comma it will work. But say you edit it a 4th or 5th time with too minor changes it won't work; when you press the "Save Changes" button it will just reload the page and no changes have been made.

Foremost I will always make sure that my post is editted properly the first or second time I do this - if I start adding minor changes like a comma into my text on the 4th+ edit it won't work. Only way to add minor changes to a text once you have editted it too many times is to just add more text into it. For some reason it will save a larger edit when it breaks, but not minor ones.

It's not a bug; it's the antispam feature I'm told. Imagine me editing my truly complicated tutorials; a nightmare. :'D I experienced that too in the recent past: with some of my tutorials I'd be granted one edit, then it wouldn't allow me to edit the thread / post anymore. Sadly some other times I can't even edit them any time I try. :'o

Thank you, I will try to note this when I edit my guides, although I don't know if I can't add that much of text! B)

I have that too from time to time, one of the battlelog.co tabs will hog the CPU and thus the fans will spin like crazy. It tends to happen when you are on the editing page, or when you start to compose your Quick Reply.

Exactly! The first time I encountered this, the first thing that came to my mind was "Oh no! How will S_h_a_r_k_93 survive???

But today posting on the forums has new bugs I never had before - also it messes up differently in different browsers

You could always add something like "Editted to correct a few grammar mistakes" or some bullshit like that at the end of the post, if the edits you are actually making are too minor to be allowed through. One additional line of text will usally allow the post to go through this anti-spam feature you speak about. ;D

Really? I hope so. I usually change lines here and there, in the middle of the post ... Sometimes I spend dozens of minutes to try to nail down the problematic hyperlink or piece of code that triggers the antispam, and sometimes I succeed. I will try to add some lines at the end of the post though, to see if the update goes through like you say.

Thank you very much from me too,

Yeah I tried too and didn't work. The problem may also be inconsistent - I remember one post which I was dying to edit but couldn't, but suddenly after a few days, I could. Weird

I cant seem to create a new thread in the off topic section, even after satisfying the captcha and retrying about 10 times in the last 2 days.

Forum bug?
